Ted Kennedy has passed away at age 77 after battling brain cancer. He was a horrible senator and repeatedly exercised poor personal judgment. No need to get into details and point out the obvious here.

That being said, the one thing he had going for him was his consistency. You knew what you were getting with him. He was adamant about most of his positions and appeared to really believe in what he preached (which can’t be said about many Democrats like Lurch / John Kerry).

I can’t recall ever agreeing with him, but may he rest in peace.
